They don't all speak English

Everyone said not to worry-they ALL speak English. Well, it's not true. I know French, Italian and Mandarin. I'm getting the hang of Spanish. Should have studied more.

Have been sketching, watching people watch the soccer game, VERY big in Mexico. The kids sell things, and remind me of my students back home.

The Oaxacanenos take real joy in working with us. Deb and I tried to buy Ibuprofen, after gestures, a few words etc. we got the right bottle in a drug store. The young lady's face lit up and was so happy to be able to help us. That's what we find everywhere.

Spring like temperatures, need a blanket at night to sleep. No AC anywhere.

Lots of ex-pat Americans here, can see why.
